Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi calon jamaah dalam memilih agen travel haji dan umrah di Desa Talang Perapat, Kecamatan Seluma Barat, Kabupaten Seluma. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya literasi masyarakat dalam memahami prosedur perjalanan haji dan umrah, sehingga rentan terhadap praktik penipuan. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada berbagai unsur masyarakat dengan pendekatan yang mudah dipahami. Kegiatan ini melibatkan observasi awal, sosialisasi bersama pihak travel resmi, serta evaluasi atas pemahaman masyarakat setelah intervensi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai travel haji dan umrah, dengan tingkat pendaftaran umrah meningkat dari 6% menjadi 10%. Kegiatan ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan berupa keterbatasan finansial, tingkat kesibukan warga, serta kesenjangan literasi digital. Secara keseluruhan, program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan keamanan masyarakat dalam memilih agen perjalanan ibadah secara aman dan terpercaya.
