Pengaruh Discipline Preventif dan Work Environment Conditions terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I Medan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh discipline preventif dan work environment terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional I Medan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penurunan kinerja karyawan yang ditunjukkan melalui kurangnya tanggung jawab, keterlambatan pekerjaan, dan ketidaksesuaian antara pekerjaan dengan keterampilan karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan populasi sebanyak 65 karyawan di bagian Sumber Daya Manusia dan Sistem Manajemen, dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen, yaitu discipline preventif dan work environment, secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,890 menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen mampu menjelaskan 89% dari variansi kinerja karyawan, sementara sisanya dijelaskan oleh faktor lain. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya meningkatkan kedisiplinan preventif dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman untuk mendorong produktivitas karyawan. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi perusahaan untuk memperkuat aturan disiplin dan memperbaiki fasilitas kerja guna meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.
