Eksistensi Keikutsertaan Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka Sebagai Upaya Pembentukan Karakter Kedisiplinan Siswa MTS Negeri Gresik
Abstrak
Tujuan penulisan karya ilmiah ini untuk mengetahui tentang peran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dalam pembentukan karakter kedisiplinan siswa MTs Negeri Gresik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik melalui wawancara dan observasi serta dekumentasi audio visual dan gambar. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan cara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka sangat berperan dalam membentuk karakter disiplin pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan untuk membentuk karakter disiplin adalah dengan banyaknya kegiatan yang mengharuskan untuk datang tepat waktu dan akan diberi sanksi jika melangggar juga ada kegiatan Pramuka lain seperti PBB yang mengharuskan keserasian dan kerapian dalam berbaris. Faktor-faktor pendukungnya adalah sikap, pengetahuan, dan pengalaman yang dimiliki oleh Pembina Pramuka , kesadaran dan motivasi diri peserta didik, dana, sarana dan prasarana, dukungan dari orang tua dan masyarakat sekitar, sedangkan factor penghambatnya adalah masih ada peserta didik yang masih kurang berminat dalam melakukan kegiatan Pramuka.
