Post-Publication Discussion

Justitia Jurnal Hukum recognizes that scientific research and legal discourse are continuous processes. We actively encourage post-publication discussion and scholarly debate regarding the articles published in our journal.

To facilitate this, we provide the following mechanisms for readers, scholars, and the academic community to engage with published content:

1. Letters to the Editor / Commentaries

Readers who wish to raise substantial academic critiques, provide alternative legal interpretations, or discuss the implications of a published article may submit a "Letter to the Editor" or a brief "Commentary."

  • Submissions must be scientifically rigorous, respectful, and directly address the substance of the published article.

  • These submissions will undergo editorial review to determine their validity and relevance for publication.

2. Author's Right to Reply

In the spirit of fairness and balanced academic debate, if a critique or commentary is accepted for publication, the original authors of the discussed article will be notified and given the opportunity to submit a formal response (Right of Reply). Both the critique and the response will ideally be published in the same or a subsequent issue to provide readers with a comprehensive view of the debate.

3. Corrections and Retractions

Post-publication discussions may occasionally reveal unintentional errors or, in rare cases, ethical misconduct in a published article.

  • If valid concerns regarding the accuracy or integrity of the data/analysis are raised, the Editorial Board will investigate the matter promptly.

  • Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the journal may issue a formal Correction (Erratum/Corrigendum) for minor errors, or an Expression of Concern / Retraction for severe flaws or misconduct, in accordance with COPE guidelines.

For any inquiries or to submit a post-publication discussion piece, please contact the editorial office through our official communication channels.
