2. Management and Editorial Structure

The management of Justitia Jurnal Hukum is structurally organized under the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, with full operational and academic execution delegated to the Editorial Board.

The Editorial Board led by the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for:

• Managing the day-to-day peer-review and editorial production workflows.

• Ensuring strict adherence to research integrity, publication ethics, and anti-plagiarism standards.

• Selecting qualified international and national peer reviewers (Mitra Bestari).

3. Editorial Independence

Justitia Jurnal Hukum maintains complete editorial independence. The owner and publisher (Faculty of Law, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya) respects the decision-making authority of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board. Publication decisions are made solely based on the academic quality, legal relevance, originality, and peer-review evaluations of submitted manuscripts, without interference from institutional or commercial interests.

4. Financial Sustainability and Funding

The operations and archiving of Justitia Jurnal Hukum are financially supported by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, along with institutional grants and transparent Article Processing Charges (APCs) where applicable. Funding sources do not influence editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes.
