Plagiarism Policy

  1. Acceptable Similarity Index: The Journal allows a maximum similarity index of 20% for submitted manuscripts, as measured by plagiarism detection tools. However, this includes properly cited quotations, references, and methodological descriptions. Higher similarity percentages in these sections may be acceptable if appropriately cited.
  2. Submission Requirements: Authors are required to ensure that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism. The Journal uses plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions. Authors are encouraged to check their work using plagiarism detection tools before submission.
  3. Actions Against Plagiarism:
    1. Minor Plagiarism (Similarity Index 20-30%): Authors will be asked to revise the manuscript to eliminate the plagiarism and resubmit it. The manuscript will only proceed to review after the plagiarism is corrected.
    2. Moderate Plagiarism (Similarity Index 30-50%): The manuscript will be rejected, and the author will be asked to revise and resubmit the manuscript as a new submission after thoroughly correcting the plagiarism.
    3. Severe Plagiarism (Similarity Index >50%): The manuscript will be immediately rejected without the possibility of resubmission to the Journal. The author(s) may be blacklisted from submitting to the Journal in the future, and their institution may be notified.
  4. Consequences of Published Plagiarized Work: If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the Journal will take the following actions:A retraction notice will be issued in the next available issue, explaining the reason for the retraction.The electronic version of the article will be removed from the Journal’s website and any other databases where it is indexed.The authors will be blacklisted from future submissions to the Journal, and their institutions will be informed.
  5. Author Responsibilities: Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors must also ensure that they have appropriately cited and acknowledged the work of others.
  6. Editorial Responsibilities: The editorial team is responsible for ensuring that all manuscripts submitted to the Journal are screened for plagiarism before review. The team will also be responsible for handling cases of plagiarism according to this policy, maintaining the integrity of the Journal.
  7. Reporting Plagiarism: Anyone can report suspected plagiarism in a published article by contacting the editorial office. The Journal will investigate all allegations of plagiarism, following the procedures outlined above.
  8. Review and Updates: This Plagiarism Policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to ensure that it remains effective in maintaining the integrity of the Journal.
