Plagiarism Policy

The Editorial Board of IMPROVEMENT: Jurnal Manajemen dan Bisnis regards plagiarism as unacceptable in any form. Originality is therefore an essential requirement for publication in the journal.

Submitted manuscripts must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Any material taken verbatim from another source must be clearly distinguished from the author’s own text by (1) indentation, (2) the use of quotation marks, and (3) a full identification of the source.

Any text that exceeds the standard of fair use (defined here as more than two or three sentences or the equivalent), as well as any graphic material reproduced from another source, requires permission from the copyright holder and, where possible, from the original author. The source, such as the earlier publication, must also be properly acknowledged.

The Editorial Board screens all submissions for plagiarism using Turnitin (https://www.turnitin.com/). Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% will not proceed to the review process and will be returned to the authors for revision.
