ACADEMOS Jurnal Hukum dan Tatanan Sosial is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and taking all possible actions against any publication malpractice. All authors submitting their work to ACADEMOS declare that the work submitted is their original contribution and has not been copied or plagiarised entirely from other works. All articles that do not meet these standards will be removed from publication at any time even after publication, in accordance with the code of conduct. The journal also uses plagiarism detection software to screen submitted Articles. is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in publishing, involving all parties such as authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, and publishers.

In order to make objective publication decisions, oversee the peer review process, establish and enforce editorial policies and ethical standards, maintain quality control, and ensure confidentiality and communication among all parties involved. At ACADEMOS Jurnal Hukum dan Tatanan Sosial, editors, reviewers, and authors have several key responsibilities to ensure the publication process is carried out properly in accordance with existing rules and regulations. These responsibilities include;

 

Editor Responsibilities

  1. The editor is responsible for ensuring fair evaluation of manuscripts based on the content of the authors. This emphasises the importance of maintaining confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and refraining from using privileged information obtained during peer review for personal gain. In addition, it emphasises the need for reviewers to avoid considering manuscripts that have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with authors, companies, or institutions associated with the manuscript in question.
  2. Editors are responsible for making objective decisions regarding the processing of articles, including acceptance, revision, or rejection. Editors should consider factors such as the significance, originality, and quality of the research, as well as alignment with the scope and purpose of the journal. This decision should be based on the evaluation provided by the reviewers.
  3. "Editorial Policy". The editor is responsible for establishing and enforcing the journal's editorial policies, guidelines, and ethical standards. The editor ensures that authors and reviewers are aware of and comply with these policies. In addition, editors have a moral obligation to keep abreast of the latest ethical developments and apply them in practice to enhance the integrity of ACADEMOS Jurnal Hukum dan Tatanan Sosial.
  4. This means they must ensure that the content remains private and not disclose it to unauthorised persons. This confidentiality is critical to maintaining the integrity of the review process and the intellectual property of the authors.
  3. Reviewers are required to assess the manuscript impartially, aiming for objectivity. Their evaluation should reflect their opinion of the work presented in the manuscript, providing a judgement on its quality and significance. This ensures a fair and impartial evaluation process that focuses on the merits of the research.
  4. Reviewers are obliged to maintain confidentiality of information related to the manuscript under review. reviewers provide relevant information to the editor that forms the basis for accepting or rejecting the manuscript. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on their expertise and provide appropriate judgement.

 

Author Responsibilities

  1. Authors have an ethical responsibility to submit research papers that are conducted in an honest and accountable manner. This includes complying with relevant laws and regulations throughout the research process and ensuring that work is conducted responsibly and with integrity. By upholding these ethical standards, authors contribute to the credibility and trustworthiness of the research presented.
  2. authors identify significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, it is their responsibility to notify the journal editor or publisher immediately. Authors should collaborate with the editor to retract or correct the paper, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the published research. This process aims to uphold academic publishing standards and maintain the credibility of research findings.
  3. Authors are expected to ensure that the work they submit is original, not plagiarised, and has not been previously published. Deliberately making false or inaccurate statements is considered unethical. If authors use the work or words of others, they must properly cite and accurately acknowledge their contribution to the work.
  4. Authors are required to report good standards for presenting their research findings clearly, honestly, and transparently, without falsification, fabrication, or inappropriate manipulation of data. Authors are also expected to provide a clear and unambiguous description of their research methods, thus allowing others to replicate and validate their findings. This ensures the integrity and reliability of scientific publications.

 

Article Withdrawal

In context, the text explains that an article may need to be withdrawn from database of ACADEMOS Jurnal Hukum dan Tatanan Sosial, for reasons such as defamation, violation of law, court order, or threat to national security.
