Abstrak

Skabies pada anak akan menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan yang serius baik fisik maupun psikologis. Salah satu dampak psikologis terjadi yaitu penurunan kualitas hidup. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu melakukan optimalisasi pendidikan kesehatan dalam tatalaksana skabies untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup anak. Mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu warga Rukun Tetangga (RT) 003, Rukun Warga (RW) 007, Benteng, Nusawine, Ambon. Metode yang dilakukan terdiri dari lima tahap. Tahap pertama adalah melakukan pengkajian melalui wawancara, observasi, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada warga di RT 003. Tahap kedua yaitu melakukan tes pengetahuan kepada peserta sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan. Tahap ketiga adalah implementasi pendidikan kesehatan melalui dalam jaringan (daring) menggunakan media zoom dan juga luar jaringan (luring). Tahap keempat adalah melakukan tes pengetahuan kepada peserta setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan. Tahap terakhir melakukan analisis proses dan hasil tes. Hasil menggambarkan peserta memahami pokok-pokok bahasan yang sudah disampaikan. Hasil survey dengan kuesioner yang sudah disebarkan sebelum pendidikan kesehatan diberikan didapatkan 100% pengetahuan peserta kurang baik, sedangkan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat didapatkan 100% pengetahuan baik. Pendidikan kesehatan kepada anak dan orang tua perlu diupayakan secara berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam tatalaksana skabies untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup anak.
