BALANCE: Economic, Business, Management, and Accounting Journal is published twice a year, in January and July. It is released in two versions: a print version ISSN : 1693-9352 and an online version E-ISSN : 2614-820X.

BALANCE: Economic, Business, Management and Accounting Journal has regained Sinta 4 accreditation, in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemendikbudristek) Number: 79/E/KPT/2023.

Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya's journal system migrated from Open Journal Systems version 2 to version 3 to enhance security and performance.

The journal article layout is changing from a two-column to a single-column format, and only manuscripts in English will be accepted, starting with Volume 21, No. 1 (January 2024).
