All submitted manuscripts will pass initial review by the editorial staff. Manuscripts that do not meet the focus and scope of TELL: Teaching of English Language and Literature Journal are promptly rejected without external review. Manuscripts considered to have potential scholarly contribution and relevance to the journal’s scope are sent for double-blind peer review.
Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who have no conflicts of interest with the authors. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editors make one of the following decisions: rejected, accepted with major revisions, accepted with minor revisions, or accepted without revisions.
Editorial decisions are made independently based solely on the scholarly merit of the manuscript and are not influenced by the journal owner, publisher, or any commercial considerations, including Article Processing Charges (APCs).
The entire review process, from initial screening to final decision, typically takes approximately 4–8 weeks.
