FENOMENA NASABAH BERMASALAH PADA PEGADAIAN SYARIAH: STUDI KUALITATIF PADA PRODUK RAHN DAN CICIL EMAS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena nasabah bermasalah pada produk rahn dan cicil emas di Pegadaian Syariah, khususnya terkait faktor penyebab, perilaku nasabah, serta strategi penanganan yang dilakukan oleh lembaga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi untuk memahami pengalaman subjektif informan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan informan yang terdiri dari pegawai internal Pegadaian Syariah dan didukung oleh data lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nasabah bermasalah dipengaruhi oleh penurunan kemampuan bayar, kendala geografis, rendahnya pemanfaatan aplikasi digital (TRING), serta kurangnya respons terhadap sistem pengingat. Dari sisi perilaku, ditemukan indikasi moral hazard dan keterbatasan informasi yang menyebabkan ketidaksesuaian antara kondisi awal dan realitas pembayaran. Strategi penanganan dilakukan secara bertahap melalui reminder, kunjungan langsung, opsi perpanjangan atau top up, hingga lelang sebagai langkah terakhir. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkaya literatur keuangan syariah berbasis perilaku serta menawarkan implikasi praktis bagi penguatan manajemen risiko dan strategi komunikasi Pegadaian Syariah. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengembangkan pendekatan mixed methods untuk hasil yang lebih komprehensif.
