Abstract

Berbagai faktor seperti pendidikan, infrastruktur, kesehatan, ekonomi, hingga kebencanaan menjadi permasalahan sehingga melalui dana ZIS dapat menanggulangi berbagai permasalahan tersebut dan dana yang diperoleh dapat didistribusikan dengan baik maka dibentuklah Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ). Tujuan penelitian ini membahas seputar upaya Lazisnu dalam menghimpun, mengelola dan mendistribusikan dana ZIS di daerah Ujungpangkah Gresik. Penelitian ini merupakan buah dari kegiatan Tim Abdimas Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya selama pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut sebagai hasil kerja sama dengan mitra pelaksanaan program edukasi literasi keuangan syariah bersama Lazisnu Ujungpangkah Gresik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan 2 sumber data yaitu data primer melalui observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan sumber data sekunder diperoleh melalui dokumentasi dan studi pustaka dari referensi terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lembaga amil zakat, infak, dan sedekah yang memiliki sejarah dan perkembangan yang signifikan. Berbagai program dan kegiatan, NU Care-Lazisnu dalam bidang ekonomi, kesehatan, pendidikan, hingga kebencanaan sebagai satu komitmen dari Lazisnu
