Analisis Problematika Pengelolaan Zakat Di Indonesia

Abstrak
Artikel ini mengkaji problematika dalam pengelolaan zakat di Indonesia. Zakat, sebagai salah satu pranata keagamaan, memiliki potensi besar untuk mengentaskan kemiskinan dan memberdayakan ekonomi umat. Namun, untuk mencapai potensi ini, diperlukan pengelolaan zakat yang profesional dan akuntabel. Artikel ini menyoroti peran dan tanggung jawab Badan Amil Zakat (BAZIS) dan Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZIS) dalam pengumpulan, pendistribusian, dan pendayagunaan zakat. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai kendala dalam koordinasi dan sinergi antar lembaga zakat yang independen, serta transparansi dan standarisasi pengelolaan zakat yang masih rendah. Studi ini mengusulkan bahwa peran pemerintah harus ditingkatkan dalam mengawasi dan mengkoordinasikan lembaga zakat untuk memastikan efektivitas pengelolaan zakat. Usulan solusi meliputi peningkatan fokus dan sinergi antara BAZIS, LAZIS, dan pemerintah dalam mendirikan perusahaan yang dapat memberikan lapangan kerja dan meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat miskin. Dengan demikian, zakat dapat lebih efektif dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan dan memberdayakan ekonomi umat.
