Abstract

ZISWAF (Zakat, Infaq, Shodaqoh dan Wakaf) merupakan instrumen
distribusi kekayaan dalam sistem ekonomi Islam. Keempat instrumen
tersebut hanya zakat yang diwajibkan bagi setiap muslim, namun ketiga
yang lainnya menjadi sarana berderma terhadap sesama muslim. ZISWAF
memiliki dua makna ; usaha menjalankan perintah Tuhan Yang Maha Esa
(kesalehan ritual), dan usaha menunaikan tanggungjawab sosial
(kesalehan sosial). Bonus demografi dengan jumlah penduduk mayoritas
Muslim dan aturan sistem pengelolaan harta yang terpisah (desentralisasi)
sehingga menjadikan LAZ (Lembaga Amil Zakat) menjamur di setiap kota.
LAZISMU Surabaya (Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah) marupakan
bagian dari lembaga amil zakat di bawah ormas Muhammadiyah
Surabaya dengan sepak terjangnya dalam penghimpunan dan
pengelolaan dana zakat yang sudah teruji. Penelitian ini diarahkan dalam
menganalisis pengelolaan danperanan dana ZISWAF dalam
pemberdayaan ekonomi umat.
