Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji relasi suami istri dalam keluarga matrifokal pada masyarakat pekerja pabrik di Desa Laladan, Kecamatan Deket, Kabupaten Lamongan menggunakan perspektif keadilan gender menurut Musdah Mulia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara terhadap 5 informan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada analisis relasi suami istri dalam keluarga matrifokal masyarakat pekerja pabrik melalui perspektif feminisme Islam yang masih jarang dikaji dalam konteks masyarakat pedesaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan dalam keluarga matrifokal memiliki peran ganda sebagai pengelola rumah tangga sekaligus pencari nafkah sehingga membentuk relasi suami istri yang lebih fleksibel, meskipun dalam beberapa kondisi masih ditemukan ketimpangan tanggung jawab dalam rumah tangga. Perspektif Musdah Mulia memandang bahwa relasi suami istri seharusnya dibangun atas prinsip keadilan, kerja sama, dan kesetaraan sesuai kondisi keluarga.
