Ketepatan Arah Kiblat Masjid-Masjid Di Wilayah Kecamatan Karang Pilang (Studi Analisis)

Abstrak
Studi ini merupakan penelitian pustaka dan lapangan. Metode penelitian yang
dipergunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, questioner, dan
studi dokumen. Sedangkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis induktif
dan deduktif.
Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini di antaranya adalah:
1. Posisi arah kiblat masjid-masjid di wilayah kecamatan Karangpilang bervariasi,
mulai yang menggunakan arah 57° sampai dengan 83°, yang seharusnya adalah
67° 28‘. diukur dari arah Utara ke Barat atau 22° 32‘ diukur dari arah Barat ke
Utara. Dan dengan penyimpangan mulai dari negatif ( - ) 15° 52 sampai nilai
positif ( + ) 10° 28‘,
2. Cara yang dipergunakan oleh masyarakat di wilayah kecamatan Karangpilang
dalam menentukan arah kiblat ketika membangun masjid menggunakan beberapa
cara diantaranya, mengikuti kiblat lama, menggunakan kompas magnit, dan ada
pula yang menggunakan bayang-bayang matahari,
3. Arah kiblat masjid - masjid di wilayah kecamatan Karangpilang menurur ilmu
falak ada yang sudah tepat tetapi lebih banyak yang kurang tepat. Dengan
perbandingan 1 : 7.
