Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Authors are required to confirm that the material presented in their work has not been previously published and that they have not granted any rights to the article to other publications.
  2. Authors must ensure the authenticity of their research and accurately cite others' work according to the specified reference format.
  3. It is imperative that authors refrain from engaging in plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
  4. Authors must rigorously adhere to the authorship criteria outlined in the instructions for authors of the IJNPH Journal, in accordance with the guidelines set by ICMJE.
  5. Authors should avoid disclosing any personal information that could potentially reveal the identity of a patient through descriptions, photographs, or genealogical information. If the inclusion of a patient's photograph is deemed crucial for scientific purposes, written consent must be obtained and clearly stated.
  6. For studies involving human experiments, authors are expected to declare that their research adheres to the ethical standards defined by the Helsinki Declaration and relevant domestic and international committees overseeing human experiments. In cases of doubt regarding compliance with these standards, authors should provide clarifications. In animal experimentation, authors should confirm their adherence to both domestic and international guidelines governing laboratory animal experiments.
  7. Authors are obligated to supply the editor with data and comprehensive details in cases where suspicions of data falsification or manipulation arise.
  8. Journal authors must transparently disclose any potential conflicts of interest, such as employment, research funding, consultancy fees, and intellectual property, in accordance with the ICMJE's disclosure document.
