Abstrak

Pembahasan tentang imperatif dalam buku teks bahasa Inggris dapat dilihat melalui PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production). PPP menyampaikan bagaimana imperatif ditangani dalam Buku Teks Bahasa Inggris Kelas X. Metode PPP memungkinkan imperatif dijelaskan sebelum siswa atau pembaca diminta untuk berlatih dan menghasilkan kalimat mereka menggunakan tenses yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana imperatif dijelaskan dalam buku teks. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif di mana data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi buku teks. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa menyesuaikan tingkat pembelajar dengan cara fitur tata bahasa dibahas adalah salah satu poin yang dianut dalam PPP. Selain itu, PPP dipilih sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengajarkan imperatif sebagai bagian dari konten tata bahasa dalam buku teks bahasa Inggris kelas X.
