Abstrak

Background: Anxiety significantly affects the well-being of pregnant women and the fetus.
Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between anxiety levels and well-being among high-risk pregnant women in the working area of the Pucuk Public Health Center, Lamongan.

Methods: This article The study used an analytical correlational design with a cross-sectional approach and employed consecutive sampling. The population and sample consisted of 60 high-risk pregnant women, identified based on the Poedji Rochjati Scorecard (KSPR), who underwent antenatal examinations at Pucuk Public Health Center from March to April 2025. Data were collected using the DASS and HRPWBI questionnaires and analyzed with the Spearman Rank test

Results: The results showed that 28.3% of high-risk pregnant women with mild anxiety had good well-being; 26.7% with moderate anxiety had moderate well-being; and 23.3% with severe anxiety had poor well-being. Statistical analysis revealed a significant result (p = 0.000, p < 0.05), indicating that the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis accepted. The Spearman correlation coefficient was rs = -0.717, reflecting a strong negative relationship between anxiety levels and well-being.

Conclusion: Anxiety has been shown to greatly affect the level of well-being in the mother as well as in the fetus
