Guideline for Author

General Guidelines

  1. Originality:

    • Submissions must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere.

    • Studies involving human subjects require ethical committee approval and informed consent.

    • Follow APA 6th Edition (2009) formatting guidelines.

    • All co-authors must approve the submission.

  2. Peer Review:

    • Articles undergo evaluation by experts and the editorial board.

    • Revisions may be requested before acceptance.


Manuscript Preparation

Formatting:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.

  • Margins: Left 4 cm; Top/Right/Bottom 3 cm.

  • Length: 12–20 pages (single-column layout).

  • Page numbers: Sequential from title page onward.

  • Required Citations:

    • Include ≥1 reference from Muhammadiyah Nursing Journal (indexed in Google Scholar).

    • 50% of references must be journal articles; 80% published within the last decade.


Manuscript Structure

  1. Title Page:

    • Concise title (≤12 words; no abbreviations).

    • Author names (no titles), affiliations, email, institutional address.

  2. Abstract:

    • Bilingual (Indonesian and English).

    • Structured with: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Implications.

    • 5 alphabetized keywords.

  3. Main Text:

    • Introduction → Methods → Results → Discussion → Conclusion → References.

  4. Tables/Figures:

    • Tables: Max 6 per article; brief title above each (title case).

    • Images/Diagrams: Max 3 per article; labeled above.
