Teori Konflik Sosiologi Klasik Dan Modern

Konflik sosial merupakan fenomena sosial yang menarik dikaji dan diteliti. Hal ini memunculkan berbagai teori konflik. Banyaknya teori konflik membutuhkan pemetaan untuk memudahkan kita dalam mengenal dan memahami berbagai teori konflik yang ada. Secara sederhana bisa dikelompokkan ke dalam 2 hal yaitu klasik dan modern. Tokoh-tokoh teori konflik sosiologi klasik adalah sebagai berikut Polybus, Ibnu Khaldun, Nicolo Machiavelli, Jean Bodin, Thomas Hobbes. Adapun tokoh sosiologi modern yang mengemukakan tentang teori konflik adalah Karl Marx, Lewis A. Coser, Ralf Dahrendorf. Teori konflik klasik cenderung memandang konflik ditinjau dari segi sifat alami manusia yang cederung saling memusuhi dan saling menguasai terutama dalam hal kekuasaan. Adapun teori konflik modern lebih bersifat kompleks dan muncul sebagai kritikan atas teori fungsionalisme structural.References
