A literature review of diagnosing transient synovitis hip disease English
Abstrak
Transient synovitis (TS) adalah peradangan sinovium akut dan non-spesifik, dan merupakan penyebab paling umum nyeri pinggul pada populasi anak. Transient synovitis biasanya menyerang anak-anak berusia antara 3 dan 10 tahun. Meskipun penyakit ini tidak berbahaya dan dapat disembuhkan dengan sendirinya, dokter harus membedakan antara transient synovitis dari proses infeksi akut. Transient synovitis didiagnosis ketika penyebab lain dari nyeri pinggul dan lemas telah disingkirkan. Biasanya, perawatan septic arthritis (SA) dan TS adalah dua etiologi yang paling mungkin berdasarkan riwayat pasien, temuan pemeriksaan fisik, dan temuan radiologi pinggul. Untuk mengecualikan diagnosis lain, melakukan pendekatan sistematis terhadap faktor klinis terkait dan mendapatkan pemeriksaan laboratorium dan pencitraan yang sesuai sangatlah penting. Diagnosis ditegakkan berdasarkan gejala klinis, pemeriksaan laboratorium, dan pemeriksaan radiologi. Ultrasonografi adalah metode yang sangat produktif untuk mendeteksi efusi sendi panggul karena sifatnya yang non-ionisasi, sehingga menghilangkan paparan radiasi langsung pada pasien. Selain itu, tes laboratorium mungkin berguna sebagai metode tambahan untuk mengevaluasi dan mendiagnosis transient synovitis, yang berpotensi membedakannya dari artritis septik.
