Focus and Scope
TADARUS: Islamic Education journal that publishes the results of original studies and research with the latest editions in Islamic education from a multidisciplinary perspective. This journal aims to expand and create innovative concepts, theories, paradigms, perspectives and methodologies in Islamic education.

Peer Review Process
Publication of articles in TADARUS is dependent solely on the scientific validityÂ as judged by our editors and/or reviewers, who will also assess whether the writing is comprehensible and whether the work represents a useful contribution to the field.
Initial evaluation of manuscripts
The Editor will first evaluate manuscripts submitted.Â At this stage, the Editor performs a plagiarism test using Turnitin with a maximum plagiarism limit of 20%. Manuscripts rejected at this stage areÂ insufficiently original, have serious scientific flaws, or are outside the aims and scope of the TADARUS. Manuscripts that meet the minimum criteria are passed on to reviewers.
Type of peer review
The manuscripts will be reviewed by at least 2 (two) peer reviewers. The method is double-blind peer review. The editor ensures that every process of reviewing, the author does not know the reviewers and vice versa. The time required for the review process until publication is average 12 (twelve) weeks after the article accepted by the reviewers.
Reviewers are asked to evaluate whether the manuscript:
- Is original by stating the objectives clearly
- Follows appropriate ethical guidelines
- Is methodologically sound
- Has results/findings which are clearly presented and support the conclusions
- Correctly references previous relevant work
Reviewers advise the editor to accept or reject the article. The editors will reach a decision based on reviewer's reports, and where necessary, they will consult with members of the editorial board. Editor's decision is final.
TADARUS publishes articles twice in a year i.e, in May and November each volume
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge

TADARUS is a Islamic education journal published by UMSurabaya Publishing, Muhammadiyah Surabaya University. This journal focuses on the publication of research results and scientific articles on Islamic education from a multidisciplinary perspective, create innovative concepts, theories, paradigms and methodologies in Islamic education. TADARUS Journal is published twice a year, i.e. in Mei and November. Based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development Strengthening, Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 21/E/KPT/2018 regarding the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals in Period I of 2018, TADARUS Journal has been include Grade 4 since volume 5 number 1, 2016 until volume 9 number 2, 2020.
This journal was born around the year 2012 that istadarus, has been published in the printed version ISSN 2089-9076dengaanaccordance with Decree no. 0005.169 / JI.3.2 / SK.ISSN / 2012.02 - February 29, 2012 (effective February 29, 2012 edition). And have gained ISSN (2549-0036) online version starting from January 2017.
