Focus and Scope

The Muhammadiyah Nursing Journal (Jurnal Keperawatan Muhammadiyah) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field of nursing science, published by the Nursing Science Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya.

The journal publishes original research articles, scholarly works, and nursing case reports encompassing the fields of nursing and healthcare.

Aim:
To serve as an authoritative scientific reference on advancements in nursing science.

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by two independent reviewers. In this process, neither the reviewers nor the authors are aware of each other's identities, ensuring impartial evaluation, feedback, and editorial decisions. The standard review period is 4 weeks. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewers' recommendations.

Plagiarism Screening:
Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin, with a maximum similarity threshold of 25%. Submissions exceeding this limit will be returned to authors for revision.


Publication Frequency

The journal is published quarterly (March, June, September, December).


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, adhering to the principle that making research freely available to the public supports global knowledge exchange.
