Perancangan Koridor Jl. Mulyorejo Barat Surabaya dengan Konsep Livable Streets

Abstract

Jalan Mulyorejo merupakan salah satu jalan penghubung menuju pusat kota surabaya yang terbilang  cukup  strategis.  Koridor  Jalan  Mulyorejo  ini  juga  menghubungkan  beberapa  jalan menuju kompleks permukiman warga sebagai akses keluar masuk nya warga mulyorejo, selain itu juga menjadi tempat kegiatan komersial maupun non komersial.  Koridor ini tidak didukung oleh tata ruang penataan yang baik. Deretan jalur pedestrian habis terpakai untuk area parkir kendaraan warga yang tidak memiliki garasi, rumah warga yang berada diatas garis sempadan jalan, serta sirkulasi kendaraan yang cukup padat menyebabkan adanya kemacetan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan perancangan koridor Jalan Mulyorejo dengan konsep livable street dengan memperhatikan aspek kelayakan, aksesbilitas, dan kenyamanan. Selain itu, metode yang digunakan adalah observasi dan pengembangan dimana dilakukan pengamatan dengan bantuan media berupa foto dan penggambaran kondisi eksisting serta penjelasan secara deskriptif lalu dikembangkan dan disesuaikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Dari hasil perancangan koridor tersebut diharapkan dapat memberi kenyamanan dan kenyamanan bagi warga mulyorejo maupun pengendara yang melewati Jalan Mulyorejo.

Abstract

Jalan Mulyorejo is one of the connecting roads to the city center of Surabaya which is quite strategic. Jalan Mulyorejo Corridor also connects several roads to the residential complex as an entry and exit for the residents of Mulyorejo, besides that it is also a place for commercial and non-commercial activities. This corridor is not supported by a good spatial arrangement. Rows of pedestrian paths are used up for parking areas for residents who do not have garages, resident’s houses that are above the road border, and the circulation of vehicles is quite dense causing traffic jams. Therefore, the design of the Jalan Mulyorejo corridor was carried out with the concept of a livable steer by taking into account the aspects of feasibility, accessibility, and comfort. In the addition, the method used is descriptive qualitative by conducting direct analysis in the field. Where the researcher will examine the condition of the object and the researcher as a key instrument of data collection techniques. From the results of the corridor design, it is hoped that it can provide comfort and convenience for the residents of Mulyorejo and motorist who pass through Jalan Mulyorejo.
