Abstract

Ethical factors are often overlooked by business decision-making focused on short-term profits. Consequently, the notion of "business as worship" is often reduced to normative discussions without a clear practical basis. In this article, an integrative model of three pillars spiritual intention, operational ethics, and blessed profit is presented. This transforms a doctrinal approach into an empirically testable conceptual framework. To map the causal relationships between variables, this study compiles the latest published literature using a conceptual qualitative approach and a desk study. Key findings indicate that sustainable profit is a natural outcome of trustworthy practices that enhance business resilience and long-term value; spiritual intention serves as a strategic compass that determines decision priorities; and operational ethics serves as a mediating tool that translates transcendental values into transparent governance. Operationalizing "intention" as an antecedent variable and ethics as a mediator in spiritual management, this study scientifically addresses the shortcomings of previous research. Practically, this framework provides audit guidelines and model design for MSMEs and startups to align commercial performance with spiritual orientation while remaining competitive.
