Abstrak

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference in the degree of the axis between the results of the Auto Refracto-Keratometer (ARK), the fogging method, and the cross-cylinder method in astigmat examination.

Methods: This research is a type of qualitative research with a case study research design. Data collection techniques came from interview questionnaires, personal documents, video recordings, memos, field notes, official records, and photography. This study used purposive sampling technique.

Results:  The results of this study show the influence of the degree of axis on the results of ARK, the fogging method, and the cross-cylinder method.

Conclusion:  Based on the results of research and analyses that have been carried out, it can be seen that the axis results of astigmat examination have different requirements and criteria for their use.
