OPTIMIZATION OF LEGAL PROTECTION FOR SIWALAN FARMERS AND UPGRADES PRODUCTIVITY THROUGH KKN LEARNING EXPRESS ACTIVITIES: CASE STUDY ON THE COAST OF PACIRAN, LAMONGAN

Abstrak

This research aims to optimize legal protection for Siwalan farmers and increase productivity through KKN Learning Express activities in Pesisir Paciran, Lamongan. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of related documents. The results of the study show that the training and legal assistance provided to Siwalan farmers improves their understanding of the legal rights and protections available. In addition, KKN Learning Express activities succeeded in improving farmers' technical skills in processing and marketing siwalan products, which in turn increased their productivity and income. This study recommends increased cooperation between the government, educational institutions, and farmer communities for the sustainability of training and legal assistance programs and the development of farmers' technical capacity. This finding is expected to make a significant contribution to efforts to empower siwalan farmers in coastal areas.
