The suitability of each manuscript type is determined according to its scientific purpose, methodological rigor, and contribution to the journal's scope.

All manuscripts must demonstrate originality, scientific rigor, methodological transparency, ethical integrity, and relevance to the international health sciences community. Manuscripts are evaluated based on their scholarly merit rather than the academic status, institutional affiliation, or geographic location of the authors.

IAHS does not publish manuscripts solely for the purpose of fulfilling academic assignments, theses, student competitions, or other educational requirements. Manuscripts derived from such activities may be considered only when they are developed into independent scholarly contributions that meet the journal's editorial and peer-review standards.
