Intervensi Komunitas Majelis Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Muhammadiyah Pada Kelompok Marginal Piyungan Yogyakarta

Majelis Pemberdayaan Muhammadiyah Pimpinan Pusat (MPM PP) Muhammadiyah telah melaksanakan intervensi untuk memperbaiki kualitas kesejahteraan hidup para kaum marginal, yakni pemulung di Tempat Pembuangan Sampah Terpadu (TPST) Piyungan dengan menerapkan dua model intervensi komunitas, yakni model pengembangan masyarakat lokal dan model perencanaan sosial. Kajian ini hendak menggambarkan keterkaitan antar komponen model intervensi komunitas dalam merealisasikan kombinasi model-model intervensi komunitas yang diterapkan sebagai usaha memperbaiki kesejahteraan kelompok marginal tersebut. Kajian ini adalah kajian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan. Uraian komponen model intervensi akan dideskripsikan dalam komponen model intervensi yang dikembangkan oleh Jack Rothman dan kawan-kawan. Hasil kajian menggambarkan bahwa kombinasi kedua model intervensi diselenggarakan karena tuntutan struktur dan masalah yang ada juga mencerminkan kebutuhan lahirnya kedua model intervensi tersebut, sehingga terjadi sinergi tujuan model-model intervensi yang diterapkan. Tentu dengan demikian, menjadikan komponen strategi dasar, taktik dan teknik perubahan yang diterapkan juga akan terhubung pada tujuan-tujuan tersebut. Selain itu terjadi pemanfaatan komponen intervensi secara lebih efisien, karena dapat menunjang penerapan model-model intervensi secara sekaligus.
