Abstract

Abstrak

Simbol dalam realita antara Islam dan Kristen memanglah sudah bisa dirasakan dan dilihat dengan tanpa harus menggunakan tenaga ekstra dalam membedakannya. Simbol dalam agama Islam dan Kristen ini menunjukkan eksistensi bahwa agama tidak akan terpisah dari simbol, melainkan simbol sudah melekat dalam Islam dan Kristen. Banyak simbol dalam Islam dan Kristen, akan tetapi penulis membaginya kedalam dua bagian, yaitu simbol materi dan simbol non-materi. Simbol materi mencakup tempat ibadah, kitab suci, dan ritual keagamaan lainnya yang menandakan bahwa itu adalah agama Islam ataupun agama Kristen. Sedangkan simbol non-materi yaitu simbol yang berupa sebuah pemberitahuan bahwa ibadah baik dalam agama Islam ataupun Kristen pertanda sebagai bentuk penghambaan kepada Tuhan.
