EVOLUSI TEKNOLOGI GELOMBANG NON-IONISASI DALAM PRAKTIK KEBIDANAN: TINJAUAN LITERATUR TERINTEGRASI PADA ASPEK DIAGNOSTIK, MONITORING IOT, DAN M-HEALTH
Abstrak
Objective: Non-ionizing wave technology has evolved rapidly from a mere diagnostic tool to a complex digital ecosystem in obstetric care. Despite its biophysical safety, its implementation still faces challenges in terms of competency and equitable access. Objective: This study aims to map the role of non-ionizing technology in obstetrics and analyze its effectiveness based on the latest technology categories.
Methods: This study uses a literature review method on 10 selected scientific journals (2022–2026) which are grouped into three main categories: diagnostics, IoT monitoring, and m-Health communication.
Results: Findings indicate a transition to the use of ultrasound as an accurate intrapartum decision-making tool, the use of wearable (IoT) sensors for real-time fetal monitoring, and the use of m-Health for distance education. However, there are diagnostic competency gaps in ultrasound use that need to be addressed.
Conclusion: Non-ionizing technology plays a crucial role in modernizing midwifery care, but its success depends heavily on strengthening practitioner competency and the safe integration of digital technology.
