PENAMBAHAN PROGRAM INTERLOCK DARI SENSOR VIBRASI KE DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM CEMENT MILL TUBAN PLANT SEBAGAI SAFETY DEVICE

Abstrak

Cement Mill merupakan tempat proses penggilingan terakhir semen. Cement Mill di Pabrik Tuban menggunakan tipe Vertical Roller Cement Mill yang merupakan produk dari Loesche. Salah satu paramtere penting yang perlu diperhatikan adalah vibrasi. Kecepatan vibrasi yang tinggi dapat merusak suatu equipment sehingga harus dibatasi mengacu pada manual book dari Loesche yaitu tidak boleh lebih dari 16 mm/s. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penambahan program sensor vibrasi pruftechnik ke Distributed Control Sistem (DCS) cement mill sebagai safety device. Kemudian setelah melakukan studi litelatur, dilanjutkan dengan perancangan konsep dan pembuatan program di software ABB Control Builder M menggunakan komputer untuk Engineering di pabrik menggunakan bahasa pemrograman function block diagram (FBD). Hasil dari program tersebut ialah sebuah tambahan safety device untuk cement mill berupa sistem interlock yang secara otomatis mematikan motor drive cement mill pada saat nilai kecepatan vibrasi yang terbaca melebihi 16 mm/s. Selain sebagai safety device, penambahan program ini juga menghasilkan fasilitas sistem monitoring secara real-time berupa indikasi kecepatan vibrasi beserta grafik yang dapat di akses online sehingga mempermudah operator mengetahui nilai vibrasi tanpa harus dilakukan pengecekan di area.
