Abstract

Zakat merupakan suatu perintah Allah Swt. dan kewajiban bagi Muslim yang sudah baligh, berakal dan mampu secara lahiriyah serta memenuhi syarat-syarat berzakat. Zakat memiliki peran dalam hubungan Tuhan dengan hamba-Nya (hablumminallah) dan hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain (hablumminannas). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembayaran zakat melalui online pada LAZ Rumah Zakat Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literature yaitu suatu metode yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dan menganalisis informasi yang diperoleh dari sumber jurnal, buku, internet, dan media lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LAZ Rumah Zakat dapat menjadi alternatif pembayaran zakat secara online. Selain ekonomis dan efisien, penggunaan LAZ Rumah Zakat dapat dilakukan dengan cara yang lebih mudah dan praktis, sehingga masyarakat dapat mengerti dan memahami prosedur dalam pembayaran zakat dan efektif dalam menunjang ibadah zakat.
