Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia (KPRI) Guru-Guru SD Kec. Lubuk Pakam dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggotanya. KPRI merupakan koperasi yang beranggotakan Pegawai Negeri Sipil yang bekerja di sebuah departemen/kantor/instasi pemerintah. KPRI merupakan organisasi ekonomi yang berasaskan kekeluargaan dengan mengutamakan rasa persaudaraan, solidaritas dan persatuan diantara para anggotanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif di mana teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap informan yang merupakan salah satu anggota di koperasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peranan Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia (KPRI) Guru-Guru SD Kec. Lubuk Pakam untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sesama anggotanya dengan melakukan kerjasama dan membantu masalah bersama.
