Abstract

Abstrak,

Tunggakan rekening air sudah menjadi trend dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Setiap bulannya tunggakan pada pelanggan terus-menerus mengalami peningkatan dan mengakibatkan proses penagihan kerumah-rumah penunggak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apa saja hal yang menyebabkan tunggakan dalam pembayaran rekening air pada PDAM Tirtanadi Cabang Medan Kota. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif, dan sumber data primer yang diperoleh dari informan yaitu pada Bagian Keuangan dan para pelanggan yang menunggak dalam pembayaran air. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa banyak hal yang menyebabkan tunggakan rekening air yaitu: faktor ekonomi pada pelanggan, kepuasan pelanggan, kualitas pendistribusian air bersih, serta proses & sistem dalam pembayaran dan juga kesengajaan dalam menunda atau kurangnya rasa kesadaran yang tinggi dalam membayar rekening air.
