Abstrak

Latar belakang : Arthroplasty merupakan prosedur bedah penggantian sendi (joint replacement) untuk mengembalikan fungsi sendi yang telah menurun. Arthroplasty pada regio ekstremitas bawah yang sering dilakukan adalah Total Hip Replacement (THR) dan Total Knee Replacement (TKR), Osteoarthritis merupakan penyebab terbanyak penyakit sendi sehingga sering dilakukan THR dan TKR. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi pada pasien dengan post op Total Hip Replacement.  Metode : Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada studi kali ini dengan menggunakan case study. Case study dilakukan dikota Jakarta pada seorang pasien yang memperoleh pelayanan fisioterapi mandiri bernama Ny.W, berusia 46 tahun dan berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga dengan kondisi total hip replacement. Hasil : Setelah diberikan intervensi fisioterapi pada didapatkan evaluasi berupa adanya peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pasien antara sebelum dilakukannya operasi dengan setelah dilakukannya operasi. Dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri pasien untuk mampu berjalan mandiri.
