Pengambilan Keputusan Orang Tua Mengenai Vaksinasi HPV Untuk Remaja Perempuan

Latar belakang: Kanker serviks menduduki peringkat kedua prevalensi pada perempuan di Indonesia. Vaksinasi Human Papillomavirus (HPV) terbukti efektif menurunkan angka kejadian dan kematian akibat kanker serviks. Vaksinasi HPV telah tersedia di Indonesia sejak tahun 2022 dan pemerintah Indonesia menargetkan 90% anak perempuan mendapat imunisasi HPV pada tahun 2030. Keputusan vaksinasi pada remaja perempuan umumnya diserahkan kepada orang tua. Penelitian ini menerapkan Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) untuk memprediksi keinginan dan perilaku orang tua dalam melakukan vaksinasi HPV.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi perilaku vaksinasi HPV pada orang tua yang memiliki remaja putri.
Metode: Desain studi prospektif dilakukan selama 3 bulan. 130 peserta direkrut dari 5 sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Takalar, Indonesia dengan convenience sampling. Partisipan yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki remaja putri, remaja putri berusia 11-12 tahun dan mampu berbicara menggunakan bahasa Indonesia, baik melek huruf maupun buta huruf. Kriteria eksklusinya adalah remaja putri yang alergi terhadap salah satu bahan dalam vaksinasi HPV. Kuesioner digunakan dalam penelitian ini seperti Survei Perilaku Kesehatan Subskala vaksinasi HPV, data demografi, dan faktor terkait kesehatan. Logistic regression digunakan untuk mengkonfirmasi hubungan sebab akibat dari variabel dan untuk menguji konstruk TPB.
Hasil penelitian: Model regresi logistik final dari menjalani vaksin HPV mencakup variabel: pendapatan orangtua (OR: 4.60, 95% CI: 1.10 – 9.01).
Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan pendapatan orangtua dengan perilaku melakukan vaksin HPV.
