THE LEARNING RESPONSIBILITIES OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: THE CORELATION OF DEMOCRATIC PARENTING AND SELF-REGULATION LEARNING
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh demokratis dan self-regulated learning terhadap tanggung jawab belajar siswa SMP. Selain itu, perlu diketahui variabel apa saja yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap tanggung jawab belajar. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 115 siswa SMP dari berbagai SMP di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah skala yang disusun menurut dimensi perilaku belajar bertanggung jawab, pola asuh demokratis, dan self-regulated learning dengan menggunakan model skala likert. Metode analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda dan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis dan self-regulated learning terhadap tanggung jawab belajar siswa SMP (R = 0,773; p<0,005). Variabel pola asuh demokratis dan self-regulated learning secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi sebesar 59,7% terhadap variasi variabel tanggung jawab belajar. Sumbangan efektif variabel self-regulated learning (53,49%) lebih besar dibandingkan sumbangan efektif variabel pola asuh terhadap tanggung jawab belajar (6,99%).
