Abstrak

At the time of the learning process that requires students who are more active than the teacher, Students should be regularly produce their own knowledge, describe experiences that relate to the subject matter. So with the performance of a good teacher will help in improving students’ achievement, especially on the subjects of Al-Islam. The author attempts to examine how is the students’ achievement in the subjects of Al-Islam in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. The result showed that this percentage results from the performance of the teacher or the variable X is 91.22%, while the average of the learning achievement or variable Y is 81.06 of eighth graders which consists of 60 students, Based on calculations, it showed that the product moment "r" count of 0,579 is greater than "r" (0.254> 0.579> 0.330) and it is in the interval from 0.400 to 6.00 with the interpretation that the variables X and Y are correlates one to another.
