The Honorable Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning!!

We are very pleased that AMAINEC annual meeting is held in University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya. As the rector of University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya, On Behalf of Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya I would like to give warm welcome to all guests from other institutions and nations, and I wish for the success of AMAINEC annual meeting as well as the International Nursing Workshop & Conference sincerely.

It is the first time for University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya to host an AMAINEC annual meeting. And, it is an action of enormous importance for University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya. Since our campus combines intellectuality, morality and entrepreneur to take an action in development of this nation. Especially in recent years, wherein Indonesia ready for free trade era and this situation have the threat and challenge in all aspects including professional nursing practice. We are committed to provide qualified nursing graduates who will work professionally in the society. I hope during AMAINEC annual meeting, all of Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah institution do collaboration to formulate the best planning to face the threat and challenge in implementation of professional nursing practice in Indonesia. I believe that this AMAINEC annual meeting will have positive effect for professional nursing practice in Indonesia. I wish all the guests in blessing, healthy, and full with happiness; I wish the AMAINEC annual meeting work smoothly and success!!
